EU Mies Award Lecture at Medieval Mile Museum - Wednesday 15th May 2019

The Medieval Mile Museum will be hosting a special lecture on Wednesday 15th May at 7:30pm to celebrate the Mies van der Rohe European Prize for Contemporary Architecture.

The EU Mies Award was created in 1988 and since then it has become a platform of the best European architecture. This year, jury members have chosen the Medieval Mile Museum by McCullough Mulvin Architects as one of the 40 best buildings in Europe.

To celebrate the EU Mies Award shortlisting and the restoration of the building, key members of the design and conservation team will be speaking about this unique project and the future of conservation in Ireland.

Tickets are free and registration is through eventbrite.com.
