Bringing together a number of state agencies within a single workplace, this scheme is designed to support collaboration, privacy, and flexibility through a carefully considered spatial arrangement. The office accommodates over 1,000 staff within a loose composition of distinctive volumes containing meeting rooms, cellular offices, and focused workspaces. These are arranged within a more open shared environment, allowing movement to flow naturally around and between spaces, creating a dynamic and informal workplace experience.

Open-plan working areas encourage communication and shared working across agencies, while quieter cellular spaces provide areas for concentration and private meetings. At the centre of the scheme, a bright and welcoming canteen acts as the social heart of the workplace — a naturally lit shared space designed to support everyday interaction and wellbeing.

Two distinct workplace identities are expressed through subtle variations in materials, fabrics, colour palettes, and planting, giving different parts of the office their own character while maintaining an overall sense of cohesion. Natural materials such as timber and textured finishes bring warmth and softness to the interiors, helping create a calm, human-centred environment.

A modular approach to construction underpins the project, improving efficiency while allowing the workplace to adapt over time. The result is a flexible and people-focused office environment shaped around movement, interaction, and shared experience.
