Corán O'Connor
Director MRIAI BArch BSc Arch Tech Conservation Grade 2

Since joining McCullough Mulvin Architects in 2005 and becoming a Director in 2017, Corán O’Connor has played a leading role in delivering projects that combine innovation, construction technology, and sensitivity to context. Working in close collaboration with fellow directors, he guides complex projects from design to realisation with precision and clarity.
His work spans historically sensitive environments, regeneration schemes, and educational campuses. In Ireland, these include the proposed refurbishment of the Old Library at Trinity College Dublin; two new hotel projects within the Guinness Quarter masterplan in Dublin; innovative housing at the TUD Grangegorman campus; and the restoration of Abbotstown House at the Sport Ireland Campus. Internationally, his experience extends to large-scale university campus projects at Thapar University in India, which respond to climate and culture through form, materials, and spatial strategies.
Corán’s contribution is defined by the precision and rigour with which complex projects are realised, from conception through construction. He brings clarity to interventions in sensitive contexts and explores methods of construction that respond to climate and culture while advancing sustainability.
